Resolution
- The Liferay Theme Generator only works with themes built by Plugins SDK, matching that very same layout structure. It will not work with e.g. Maven themes
- ✅ It is still possible to import the theme: if you can get the project folder and files structure to look like an old plugins-sdk one, the import task will run
- ✅ Alternatively, you may use the Liferay Developer Studio's Code Upgrade Tool or Liferay Upgrade Planner to upgrade theme before importing it into the Theme Generator
