Issue

  • After embedding Liferay form in the external website (for example, a plain HTML website), the form data is not captured after submitted successfully.

Environment

  • Liferay DXP 7.1

Resolution

One possible reason for the Form data can not be captured is because a cookie got blocked. It can be resolved by clearing the Cookies.

  • Open browser's console, go to Application tab, expand Cookies in the left menu
  • Then right-click on http://localhost:8080 (Take Liferay DXP site as an example) and click Clear.
  • Refresh the page and resubmit the Form, export the Form. Then the data should be captured.
