Issue
- When we try to Publish (save) a Web Content article it takes several minutes.
Resolution
- By default when a Web Content article is saved within Liferay DXP 7.2 all versions of the article are indexed alongside the latest version. If an article has been edited extensively it can lead to slow behavior when Publishing/Saving the article.
- This can be turned off by disabling the
Index All Article Versions Enabled System Setting at Control Panel -> Configuration -> System Settings -> Content and Data -> Web Content -> Virtual Instance Scope -> Web Content.
