Issue

  • When trying to paste content from the clipboard into the CKEditor through the "Paste as plain text" button on Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox, you'll receive the message:

Environment

  • Liferay DXP 7.2+
  • CKEditor v.4.7.0+
  • Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox

Resolution

  • Use the keyboard combination instead:

    • Microsoft Windows OS, Linux OS: CTRL+ Shift + V
    • macOS: ⌘ Cmd + ↑ Shift + V
