Issue

I want to define a limit for the size of files depending on the mime type and site so that users cannot upload huge files that impact the performance of the site.

Is this configuration possible?

Environment

Liferay DXP 7.0 to 7.3

Resolution

Liferay out-of-the-box doesn't allow configuring different values to the "Maximum File Size" of Documents and Media.

This is a unique setting that applies to the whole Liferay installation.

This has been requested a new feature request for future Liferay versions, see LPS-102325 and LPS-114786
