Issue

  • Search service is restarting continuously having similar errors as below:

  • Liferay DXP 7.1
  • Liferay DXP 7.2
  • Liferay DXP 7.3

Resolution

  • There might be multiple reasons for StackOverflowError to trigger. One of the reasons is creation of heavy segments.
  • Need to identify such segments and remove the same.
