Issue
- How to create a role-based user to only view and update web content?
Resolution
-
- Navigate to Control Panel >Users and Organizations > Create a user
- After this, navigate to the control panel > Roles > Click on the add button. Create a new role named maker
- Then, go to maker >assignees >add the user that was created in step 1
- Then, go to define permissions >Site and Asset Library Administration >Content & Data → Web Content.
- Select Access in Site and Asset Library Administration.
- Select only view and update.
- Click on Save.
Now, the role-based user named 'Maker' is only able to update the web content.
