Issue

  • Workflow doesn't work if I add com.liferay.portal.scripting.groovy.internal.GroovyExecutor to the blacklist file com.liferay.portal.component.blacklist.internal.ComponentBlacklistConfiguration.config

Environment

  • Liferay DXP 7.3, 7.4

Resolution

  • The single approver workflow doesn't work with Groovy disabled, as it relies on Groovy to change the workflow state.
We advise against completely deactivating this component
