Issue

  • When opening a Web Content in edit mode, the following error populates within the browser console: 
    • Browser console error - Failed to execute 'removeChild' on node : The node to be removed is not a child of this node
  • Steps to reproduce:
    • Access Site Admin > Content & Data > Web Content for the default Liferay site
    • Create new Basic Web Content
    • Add a "Web Content Display" widget to the default home page, configure the portlet to show the article created in the first step > Save
    • Access Site Admin > Content & Data > Web Content > Edit the test content

Environment

  • 2024.Q1

Resolution

  • A hotfix including LPD-22042 should resolve the behavior.
