Issue
- We want to limit the languages displayed in the translation selector for object fields to only those defined in the site, similar to how it works for Journal Articles.
- Currently, the selector shows all languages available in the environment.
Resolution
- Limit the languages displayed in the translation selector for object fields can likely be achieved through instance-level configuration.
- Navigate to *Control Panel* > *Instance Settings* > *PLATFORM - Localization* > *VIRTUAL INSTANCE SCOPE* > *Language*.
- Here, move the desired languages from the 'Available Languages' list to the 'Current Languages' list using the provided arrow buttons.
- This configuration restricts the language options presented to only those selected for the instance.
