Why can't I see my created Application Display Templates for widgets in a staged site?

Issue

  • In a staged site, after adding a new Application Display Template for a widget, the same will not be visible in the ADT's list for that widget itself

Environment

  • Liferay DXP 7.0+

Resolution

  • Application Display Templates have to be staged at the moment of activating staging on that site:
