Web Content validation is not working on mandatory field

Issue

  • Web Content validation is not working on the mandatory field. Steps are as follows:

1. Create a new Web Content structure with an Image field.
2. For Image field: change "Required" & "Repeatable" to Yes.
3. Create a new Web Content with this structure, then adding two Image fields. Then adding an Image on the first Image field, skip adding an image on the second image field.
4. Click on the publish button.

Actual Behavior: The web content can be published successfully, without asking for the mandatory information on the second Image field.
Expected Behavior: The mandatory message appears on all required fields.

Environment

  • Liferay DXP 7.1 Fix Pack 12 or below
