Issue
- After upgrading Liferay from an older version to a newer version, web content that was created with the older version is not showing up in the Web Content Display Widget as an option to be selected.
Environment
- Liferay DXP 7.1
- Liferay DXP 7.2
- Liferay DXP 7.3
- Liferay DXP 7.4
Resolution
- After running and upgrade, a reindex of all search indexes will sometimes need to be done in order for all users and content to be properly indexed
- Running a reindex of all search indexes will re-populate the available Web Content that can be selected in the Web Content Display Widget
