Expected Behavior: Unchecked web content at the time of publishing should not be published to Live.
Observed Behavior: Unchecked web content at the time of publishing is published to Live.

Environment

  • Liferay 7.2 with DXP-5

Resolution

  • Publishing a page, all the portlets are published from it, this includes the Web Content Display placed in step 1.

  • Publish a Web Content Display, it will publish the Web Content it is showing.

  • Unchecking Web Content in the Content section of the Advanced Publication form does not mean no Web Contents will be published. It means that no new unreferenced Web Contents are published.

  • Web Contents being published to live if they are referred by pages that are being published.
