Unable to set display page templates for Global Structures in a sub site

Issue

  • Since Default Values are not site-scoped, but always share the scope of their Structure, and because Global Structures can't have Display Pages set because there are no pages on the Global site, Global Structures should never have the Display Page option displayed for their Default Values.

  • Steps to reproduce:
    1) Navigate to System Settings -> Web Content -> Administration and check the checkbox for "Set this to false if only current site structures and templates should be shown when user manages structures or templates" save this setting
    2) Navigate to the Liferay site
    3) Navigate to Content & Data > Web Content, Structure tab
    4) Use the Basic Web Content structure's kebab menu to 'Edit Default Values'
    Expected Behavior: Display Page option should not be available on the right side
    Observed Behavior: Display Page option is available on the right side
