Issue

  • Unable to see the site-level vocabulary in the collection filter
  • Steps to reproduce:
    1. Start the server
    2. Create the vocabulary by navigating to the 'Site Panel' > Categorisation > Categories.
    3. Create vocabulary as 'FAQ' and create two categories in the vocabulary.
    4. Then create the 2 sub-categories within each parent category.
    5. Now navigate to the 'Control Panel' > Objects > Create an object named "FAQ-O".
    6. After creating the object, in the 'Scope' select 'Site' and 'Panel link' select Content & Data.
    7. Within the object in the 'Field' tab, create two fields, let's say: questions, answers.
    8. In the 'Layout' tab, create the tab and add the fields which we created in the previous steps, and along with this, add the categorisation and click on 'Save'.
    9. Now, go to the home page, edit it, add the created object, and create the object entries, and align 1 category for each object entry.
    10. Navigate to the 'Site Panel' > Site Builder > Collection and create a dynamic collection. Lets say:123
    11. In the dynamic collection, add the filter that contains all the categories.
    12. Then on the home page, add the 'Collection display' and 'Collection filter.
    13. Click on the 'Collection filter' and, on the right corner side, select the target collection which created in the 10th step> Filter as category > Click on 'Source'.

Observed behaviour: The vocabulary created as 'FAQ' in the 3rd step is not visible.
Expected behaviour: The created vocabulary should be visible.

Environment

  • Liferay 2025.Q1.0

Resolution

  • The observed behaviour is a known bug addressed by the LPD-46924
