Issue
- As of 2025.Q1, you can no longer edit the "Display Date" field or schedule the publication date for past dates—only for future ones. As a result, you are unable to perform a key use case that used to be possible in previous versions.
Resolution
- This feature has been reintroduced by LPD-56362 and will be made available in future versions of Liferay out of the box.
- In case you’d like to have this fix in your Liferay version, please request a hotfix from Liferay Support.
