Unable to retrieve the properties from Analytics Cloud

Issue

  • We connected our Liferay instance to Analytics Cloud and the instance shows that the connection is successful.
  • But when we try to Sync Sites, we receive the following error message:
    Unable to retrieve the properties from Analytics Cloud.

  • For our Liferay instances, we opened the URLs below:

    https://analytics.liferay.com
    https://analytics-js-cdn.liferay.com
    https://osbasahpublisher-europe-west3-ac3-c1.lfr.cloud
    https://osbasahbackend-europe-west3-ac3-c1.lfr.cloud

  • We tried to reconnect Liferay to Analytics Cloud and delete the Data Source as well but nothing changed.

  • What is the root cause?

Environment

  • Analytics Cloud
  • DXP 7.0+

Resolution

Check the patch level

Make sure that your Liferay patch level is the same or higher than the ones in the list during the connection:

Check the firewall settings

Instead of

https://osbasahpublisher-europe-west3-ac3-c1.lfr.cloud
https://osbasahbackend-europe-west3-ac3-c1.lfr.cloud

enable the following URLs in your firewall settings:

https://osbasahbackend-ac-europewest3.lfr.cloud
https://osbasahpublisher-ac-europewest3.lfr.cloud
