Unable to add more than seven favorite structures from the web content administration

Issue

  • When trying to add favorite structures from the web content section, the following message is displayed when number of structures selected is equals to 7-> 
'Warning:Right now your quick menu is full of favorites. If you want to add another one, please, remove at least one of them.'

Environment

  • Liferay DXP 7.2

 

Resolution

  • There is a configuration associated with the number of allowed structures
  • Access Control Panel -> System Settings -> Web Content -> Administration Section. In this section, there is a variable 'Maximum Add Menu Items' which, by default, has the value 7. Change that number with the desired value and try again.

 

Additional Information

  • This message may also appear even if no structure has been added as a favorite. Change that configuration solves the problem.
