There are 2 places in where the 'Password Reset Notification' template is present. One is in the Sign-In widget (Configuration > Set-up) and the other is in Control Panel > Instance Settings > Email.

Resolution
- The configuration at the Sign In widget level is specific to that particular widget. This means you can customize the template for each Sign In widget differently from the default instance-level template.
- Essentially, it allows for more granular customization of the notification template for different instances of the Sign In widget.
- Set these options by:
- Instance-level (Control Panel > Instance Settings > Email > Password Reset Notification) - Sets the default template for the Forgot Password or in the Sign In widget.

Sign In widget level (Sign In Widget > ⋮ > Configuration > Password Reset Notification) - displays the default template from the instance-level.
