There is no length restriction on the Name and Description of Web Content template

Issue

  • Name and Description don't have a length restriction
    Steps to reproduce:
    1) Navigate to Content&Data> Web Content> Templates
    2) Create a new Template
    Observed Behavior: Name and Description don't have length restrictions.
    Expected Behavior: Name and Description should have length restrictions.

Environment

  • Liferay DXP 7.1
  • Liferay DXP 7.2
  • Liferay DXP 7.3
  • Liferay DXP 7.4

Resolution

  • The observed behavior is a known DXP bug that is being addressed by LPS-80787.

Additional Information

  • If the hotfix is required for this issue, please create a support ticket requesting the hotfix by attaching the patch details.
  • Installing Fix Packs and Hotfixes on Liferay DXP will guide to installation of the hotfix in the respective environment.
