Issue

  • Calling themeDisplay.getDevice(request) from a theme template returns null or a dummy implementation of Device interface

Environment

  • Liferay DXP 7.3
  • Liferay DXP 7.4

Resolution

  • The classes which provided the functionality Mobile Device Rules have been removed in LPS-146603.
  • The only way to keep the previous behavior would be to implement a specific custom development.
