Issue
- If a web content display widget is used on the widget pages, the title of the web content appears after publishing it, however, on content pages, the title does not appear.
- Steps to reproduce:
1) Create web content with a title and some content
2) Create two pages- a content page and a widget page
3) Drag and drop this web content on both pages
Observed behavior: On the widget page, the title of the web content can be seen on the 'Web Content Display Widget'
Expected Behavior: The web content display widget shouldn't contain the web content title, such as on content pages.
Environment
- Liferay DXP 7.4
Resolution
-
The following steps can be taken to achieve this result:
1) Select the 'Web Content Display Widget' on the Widget Page.
2) Click the ellipsis (three-dot) icon > Look and Feel Configuration.
3) After selecting 'Look and Feel Configuration', a list of 'Application Decorators' appears.
4) Choose 'Barebone' and save it.
5) Now, look at the web content> this web content should not have a title.
Additional Information
- This is also accomplished by adding an Asset Publisher to the widget page, manually selecting the web content and changing the display settings to Full content, and unchecking the unwanted information. Alternatively, a custom display template can be provided.
