The first repeatable field in a web content cannot be removed

Issue

  • Unable to remove the 1st repeatable element

  • Steps to reproduce:
    1) Start the DXP server
    2) Create a new structure
    > add a Text field
    > set Repeatable to Yes
    > save the structure
    3) Start creating new web content with the structure
    > assert that you can see the repeatable field with a ➕ sign
    > click on the ➕ sign
    4) A second repeatable field will appear with ➖➕
    Expected Behavior: The ➖ sign appears next to the ➕ sign at the 1st element too.
    Observed Behavior: The ➖ sign never appears at the 1st element

Environment

  • Liferay DXP 7.4

Resolution

  • The observed behavior is a known DXP bug that has been addressed in dxp-74-update-63
