Issue

  • The currency format is not displaying as expected for INR(Indian Rupees)
  • Steps to reproduce:
    1) Navigate to Control Panel > Commerce > Currencies > INR > Format Pattern
    2) Change pattern from ₹ ###,##0.00 to ₹ ##,##,##0.00 so that values will be displayed as ₹24,500.00
    3) Now, create a product and set some value in SKU.
    Expected behavior: The amount should show in the same format which we set above.
    Observed behavior: The amount still shows in the default format i.e., ₹ ###,##0.00

Environment

  • Liferay DXP 7.4 
  • Commerce 4.0 

Resolution

  • The observed behavior is a known bug of Commerce 4.0 which has been addressed in dxp-7.4-update-77.
