The Builds and Deployments links are not present on the Projects or Alerts pages

Issue

  • When navigating through most pages in the Liferay Cloud Console, there are links in the upper right for "Builds" and "Deployments." However, on the Projects page and the Alerts page, those links are missing.

Resolution

  • These links being hidden on the /projects and /alerts pages is intended behavior.

Additional Information

  • To fit the use case of users who are included in multiple projects, the Builds and Deployments links are not included by design. For those users, they would first need to navigate into a specific project before the /projects or /alerts page would be limited to only filter builds and alerts sourced from the same project.
  • A related feature request is currently being considered by the product team, to see if a modified Builds/Deployments link could still be added to the /projects and /alerts pages. Clicking on this modified link could instead show a list of projects, allowing a user to choose a specific Id to navigate to the standard, filtered /builds page.
