Issue

    1. Reindex all spell check indexes (Control Panel > Search > Reindex all spell check indexes)
    2. Create a Basic Web Content with title: Leave out the cash
    3. Publish
    4. Open the default search page:http://localhost:8080/web/guest/search
    5. Configure Suggestions portlet
      1. Enable "Display "Did you mean: ..." if the number of search results does not meet the threshold."
      2. Save
    6. Do a search: laeve out the cash
    7. Look at the suggestion portlet and mouse over the link.

    Desired Behavior
    The suggestion is "Leav the cash out".

    Current Behavior
    The suggestion is "Leav cash out".

  • Liferay DXP 7.3 and 7.4

Resolution

  • This is a known bug and is already being discussed here at LPS-134911.
