Issue
- NGINX load balancer is set up in my environment.
- All URLs in the portal redirect using friendly DNS name.
- This does not work for the Search Results widget.
- When navigating the Search Results widget, it uses the IP address and not the friendly DNS name.
Resolution
- This will usually result from incorrect configuration in the
nginx.conf file.
- Please make sure that the following property is added:
proxy_set_header Host $host;
- Additionally, make sure that your
portal-ext.properties file contains the necessary properties. (While the article references Apache, the same can be applied for NGINX.)
