Issue

  • Steps to reproduce:
    1.Create a speed-well test site.
    2.Create vocabulary named "ipdc" and create one category named "World Cup" in it.
    3.Now, create product named "FIFA" and select "World Cup" in ipdc category section.
    4.Next, create SKU named "cup" and give Base Price as $ 1000.00
    5.Now,Create Discount named "FIFA World Cup" and type is percentage and applied to categories.
    6. Give 10.00% in Amount.
    7. Schedule the Product.
    8. And, select category "World Cup".
    9. Leave defaults value in eligibity section.
    10. Now, check the product in catalog, it is showing the discount price even before the scheduled date.
    Expected Result: Scheduled Discount applied on schedule Date & Time.
    Actual Result: Scheduled Discount applied before schedule Date & Time.

Environment

  • Liferay DXP 7.3
  • Commerce 3.0

Resolution

  • The observed behavior is a known issue/bug.
  • If the hotfix is required for this issue, please create a support ticket requesting hotfix by attaching patch details.
  • Installing Fix Packs and Hotfixes on Liferay DXP will guide to install this hotfix in the respective environment.
