Issue

  • If I have a multinode cluster using multicast replication, and I set
    multicast.group.address["cluster-link-udp"]
  • Restarting a node sometimes hangs when initializing JGroups channels.

Environment

  • Liferay DXP 7.1
  • JBoss EAP 7.1
  • Multicast replication

Resolution

  • Eliminate the line from your portal-ext.properties:
    multicast.group.address["cluster-link-udp"]
So that Liferay will use its default IPs and collision won't appear.
