Issue

  • We use the Suggestion Widget in our environment. Do we need to perform a reindex every time we boot up the server?

Environment

  • Liferay DXP 7.0+

Resolution

  • You do not need to perform a re-indexation after each restart, however, it is advised to reindex the Spell Check Indexes if the files defined for index.search.spell.checker.dictionary* property were modified.
