Issue

The Price Range Facet widget filters results based on a product's lowest price. However, the users have created the base price and price list separately for their products, so that their guest users can only view the basic price and specific accounts should see price list values that were specified while creating this list under Commerce> Pricing> Price Lists> Add price list.
-
Steps:
Navigate to Commerce> Pricing> Price Lists> Add price list
Fill details > Eligibility> Select the required account and channel
Navigate to Entries> add products and modify price list amount
Now, when users see the Site, the modified amount should be visible [e.g., using the Minium site]
If users select any range in the price range facet widget, then it does not give results on the latest price but gives them their lowest or base price.Requirement: The price range facet should take the new amount set from the Price List Price for that specific account.

Environment
- Liferay DXP 7.4
- Commerce 4.0
Resolution
-
The expected behavior is currently a limitation of the product.
The Final prices available to specific customers in Liferay are calculated fields due to the pricing engine supporting complex rules and eligibility that are impacted by a myriad of factors. As such they are not indexed for each account which prevents it from being able to sort by specific user pricing.
However, Liferay has already recorded a feature request on this which users can track here: LPD-901. Users can vote for this and add themselves as a watcher to get all updates.
