Issue

  • The number of pages that are shown in the pagination drop down menu for the Asset Publisher portlet is not the total number of pages that exist on that site. For example, if there are 30 pages total, it only shows up to page 26.

Environment

  • Liferay DXP 7.0

Resolution

  • You can control the number of pages that will appear in the pagination drop down menu through the use of the portal property search.container.page.iterator.max.pages
  • This is the portal property with its default value, found in the portal.properties file:
# Set the maximum number of pages available above and below the currently
# displayed page.
#
# Env: LIFERAY_SEARCH_PERIOD_CONTAINER_PERIOD_PAGE_PERIOD_ITERATOR_PERIOD_MAX_PERIOD_PAGES
#
search.container.page.iterator.max.pages=25
  • To increase the number of pages that will be shown in the pagination drop down menu, set the property to a higher number that will accommodate the number of pages that you have.
