Page editor fails to render if a user who commented on the fragment is deleted

Issue

  • If a user posts a comment on a fragment and then the user is deactivated and consequently deleted afterwards, the fragment becomes unavailable for editing.

Environment

  • DXP 7.4 U75

Resolution

  • The fix for this issue was added 7.4 U85 and can be requested to be included in a hotfix for previous versions as needed.
  • If you need to request a hotfix, please contact Liferay Support and ask for LPS-188078 to be included at your patch level.
