Issue
-
"Obsolete CBC Ciphers" warning message can appear during a security revision or in certain browsers.
Resolution
- The message points to a vulnerability related to the available cipher protocols for HTTP transport.
- This communication is always ciphered by external elements to Liferay DXP (depending on the project nature can be the load balancer, the application server, the web server, etc.).
-
Review which of your infrastructure elements are offering this cipher and update them accordingly (reviewing SSL certificates, additional configuration,...)
