Issue
- When trying to download a quarterly release from Liferay's Help Center we are getting a browser error that says 'Your connection is not private... Attackers might be trying to steal your information...'
Environment
- Quarterly Release 2024.Q1
Resolution
- This can often be caused by an http proxy incorrectly configured on your network as a 'man-in-the-middle'.

We recommend inspecting the certificate in the browser on your side which is likely being seen as a custom untrusted and invalid authority.
