Issue

  • Mapping with Custom Objects is not working on Pages
  • Steps to Reproduce:
    1) Menu > Control Panel > Objects
    2) Create a Custom Object
    3) Navigate to Custom Object and click on the Fields tab
    4) Add a Custom Field (text)
    5) On details, publish
    6) Go home
    7) Navigate to Site Builder > Pages
    8) Add Page
    9) Click on Page
    10) Add Heading on Page
    11) Double click on the heading name
    12) Select Item: Custom Object
    13) Mapping Custom Field
    Expected Behavior: It's possible to add and see Custom Entry
    Observed Behavior: It's not possible to add Custom Entry

Environment

  • Liferay DXP 7.4

Resolution

  • The observed behavior is a known bug in DXP 7.4 which will be addressed by LPS-163637
