Issue

  • The "module-hbm.xml" file generated by Service Builder has references to com.liferay.portal.dao.orm.hibernate.MethodPropertyAccessor instead of com.liferay.portal.dao.orm.hibernate.LiferayPropertyAccessor, with errors of MethodPropertyAccessor not found when starting service.  

Environment

  • DXP 7.4 u66 and below

Resolution

  • MethodPropertyAccessor has been added to 7.4 Update 67 and higher and Liferay Workspace version 4.1.23 and higher.
  • If your team is using a Liferay version lower than DXP 7.4 u67, you can manually downgrade the Workspace version to 4.1.22 or lower by adjusting the version in settings.gradle.
