Issue

Environment

  • 2023.Q3.9

Resolution

  • Localizing objects feature is available out-of-the-box for adding translations to definition labels, and users can enter localized values for text fields, as referred documentation explains.
  • Current environment version needs to activate LPS-172017 Feature Flag to get Text, Long Text and Rich Text fields localization.
    • Navigate to
Control Panel -> CONFIGURATION -> Instance Settings -> PLATFORM -> Feature Flags -> VIRTUAL INSTANCE SCOPE -> Release
and select 'Translation Support for Object Entries (LPS-172017)'.
  • Once this Feature Flag is active, object definition will show the 'Enable Entry Translation'option, in 'Details'tab, 'TRANSLATIONS'section.
  • Important note: this option can be only enable when an object is in draft status.  Once an object is published, the option cannot be modified.
