Issue
- When upgrading from Liferay DXP 6.x to 7.4, the following Language localization issue has been observed:
- Languages / locales listed in the portal-ext.properties file are not available to be assigned for users
- Languages in "Available" column are shown as duplicates of "English (US)" when applied to the "Current" column
Resolution
- This is a verified issue that is addressed by LPS-180299
- The fix is built into 7.4 Update 73 and later
- Please upgrade to 7.4 Update 73 or later to receive the fix or submit a Support ticket to request a hotfix
