Here you will find information for resolving connection issues between Liferay Sync desktop and your server.

Resolution

ServerName must match the cname of the record

  • If these do not match, the handshake will fail

  • However, in the case that these do not match, the issue can be resolved by creating a server alias. E.g. ServerAlias=cname

  • This is not an issue on the mobile sync since the handshake is a different process
