Issue
- We want to upload our own custom SSL Certificates.
- How many custom certificates can we add?
Resolution
- As documented in Network Configuration for PaaS, you can upload maximum 14 of your own certificates.
- This is a hard limit imposed by the service provider, so Liferay cannot change the limit.
- It is possible to cover more domains with one certificate. For that, the following routes are possible:
- Rely more domains on our self-provided certificate (Let's Encrypt), or
- Generate a "wildcarded" certificate to manage more domains. Wildcard certificates are not supported for Liferay’s auto-generated SSL certificates. However, you may configure your instance with custom Wildcard SSL certificates: https://learn.liferay.com/w/liferay-cloud/reference/platform-limitations
