Issue

  • The following warnings have been appearing in the Liferay logs and need to be removed:
INFO [http-nio-8080-exec-2][RetryExec:97] I/O exception (java.net.SocketException) caught when processing request to {s}->https://learn-resources.liferay.com:443: Connection reset
INFO [http-nio-8080-exec-2][RetryExec:113] Retrying request to {s}->https://learn-resources.liferay.com:443

 

Environment

  • Liferay DXP Quarterly Release 2024.Q1.10 and later

 

Resolution

  • As of Quarterly Release 2024.Q1.10, the following property has been set to true by default:
learn.resources.enabled=true
  • If the environment is not using the Learn Tag library, these log messages can be removed by setting the following property:
learn.resources.enabled=false
