lastLoginDate values are not correct in User_ table

Issue

  • It’s noted that the last login date details are not correct in User_ table. The understanding is that lastLoginDate values should reflect those seen in the loginDate column.

Environment

  • DXP 7.3   DXP 7.4

Resolution

  • Liferay is working as expected. 

    loginDate can be thought of as the 'current login date'

    lastLoginDate can be thought of as the 'previous login date'


    Example:  If a given user logged in on May 1st and again on May 19th, the Users_ table values would show something like:

    loginDate = 2023-05-19 08:02:58

    lastLoginDate =  2023-05-01 07:48:41
