Issue
- Is JBoss 8.x compatible with Liferay DXP?
Resolution
- According to the compatibility matrix, the application version JBoss EAP 8 is currently not compatible with Liferay DXP 7.4.

JBoss EAP 8 has moved from Jakarta EE 8 to Jakarta EE 10+. As a result, Liferay DXP Quarterly Releases are not compatible with JBoss 8.x currently.

However, plans to move the Liferay DXP to Jakarta EE 10 are in progress, and JBoss EAP 8 has been added to the roadmap. Additionally, JBoss EAP 7.4 will be supported in the meantime until JBoss EAP 8 compatibility is released.
