Issue

  • The page title displayed in the browser tab is Page Name - Site Name - Instance Name .

  • Can I change this page title to show only Instance Name?

Environment

  • Liferay DXP 7.1

Resolution

  • The page title is defined in the theme's portal_normal.ftl.
  • Liferay's default theme page titles look like Page Name - Site Name - Instance Name .
  • You can change this by adjusting the theme you are using.
  • Page Name is inserted by the variable of the_title in portal_normal.ftl.
