Issue

  • Beyond translating the web content fields from its DDM structure, does Liferay offer the capability to auto-generate translations for metadata such as the 'Description' field?

Resolution

  • The description field is included in the automated translations:
  • If you would like to translate this part automatically, this is currently not available in the product.
    <meta content="Test description" lang="en-US" name="description" />
