Issue
- When trying to export and import web content, an error will occur, preventing the import, if the web content is referencing pages that have not yet been imported.
- There is a use case that necessitates the importing of web content without importing any referenced pages.
Resolution
- This issue has been fixed with the addition of LPS-139101
- After installing the fix, you will still need to uncheck the Validate Missing References checkbox at Control Panel > Configuration > System Settings > Platform > Infrastructure > Export/Import on the import bundle. The fix allows the user to bypass the Missing References Error during a portlet import process (such as a Web Content Import process), rather than only allowing them to bypass the Missing References Error during a site import process.
