Issue
-
There is a possibility to crop and put effects on an image, adjust the brightness, and change the resolution, but we did not find an option to optimize the weight of an image.
Is it possible to optimize an image directly in the back office?
Environment
- Liferay DXP 7.2
- Liferay DXP 7.4
Resolution
- Liferay only displays the uploaded images. This is a current feature limitation in the portal. There are no configuration options for editing an image in one central place at the moment.
- Imagemagick and Ghostscript could be an option because there are more extensions supported, and these help to generate previews faster. There is documentation available.
