Issue

  • Can I hide only the password expiration warning message while keeping the password policy in place?

Environment

  • Liferay Portal 6.2, Liferay DXP 7.0, Liferay DXP 7.1, Liferay DXP 7.2

solution

  • The setting of whether or not to display the warning message can be changed in the password policy.Select Edit from the three-point menu for the password policy you wish to change, and set Password Expiration > Remaining period of expiration to "Do not show warning".
